A VERY RARE PALE GREY JADE HORSE HEAD FINIAL
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-220 AD)
The thick, flat finial carved in relief as a horse head in profile, with large eyes and an elongated mouth outlined with raised lips, the knobbed back of the head continuing downwards into a slight curve, the bottom with a conical socket for attachment, the pale greyish stone with opaque horizontal inclusions
