Sale Overview
The Fall sale of Indian and Southeast Asian Art, taking place on 18 September, will present a diverse collection of paintings and sculpture from India, the Himalayas, and the regions of Southeast Asia. Among the highlights of the sale are two large and important Chola bronzes from the Collection of Ariane Dandois, as well as a highly important set of nine Tibetan paintings of the Third Panchen Lama. Also featured will be South Asian sculptures and paintings from the Collection of Fong Chow, former curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as a number of other private collections with early and desirable provenance.
