Lucile Andreani is the Head of Department for Handbags & Accessories at Christie's, based in Paris. Since joining Christie's in 2013, Lucile has played a pivotal role in expanding the department’s reach across Paris, London, and Hong Kong before returning to Paris. She contributed to Europe’s first Handbags live auction in March 2015, launched the London sales in 2017, and developed the King Street online auctions, reinforcing Christie’s leadership in luxury.
In May 2022, upon returning to Paris, Lucile led Most Collectible Bags: An Important European Private Collection, achieving 100% of lots sold for a total of €2.3M, marking a turning point for the department. This success set the stage for a series of exceptional auctions. That same year, she spearheaded Inside the Orange Box: A Lifetime of Collecting, which continued in Milan and Amsterdam, culminating in €5.9M and an extraordinary 220% of the low estimate. In 2024, she curated the first single-owner auction of Louis Vuitton trunks, Legendary Trunks: A European Private Collection, achieving a world record price for the category. Most recently, Unlocking the Orange Dream, held in November 2024, reaffirmed the market’s strength, with 100% of lots sold and a €2.3M sale total.
