Part I (all published), 2° (485 x 355mm). Mounted on guards throughout. Parallel title and text in Latin and German. Double-page title in red and black and dedication with engraved portrait vignette, engraved initials. 13 engraved plates (11 double-page, 2 folding) by Kleiner or Jeremias Jacob Sedelmayr. (Some light soiling, small repaired tear to blank upper margin of title.) Contemporary red morocco-backed marbled boards (scuffed). Provenance: 2nd Marquess of Bute (Luton Library bookplate). Engraved frontispiece and 60 plates (plate 39 normally folding, here on two sheets, 5 plates folding). (Six plates with small tears, a seventh almost torn in half, the final plate laid down.)
