Woven in wools and silks, depicting a profusion of foliage and flowers to the foreground, to the right with a thistle and to the left with a red flowering shrub and a tree in the background with white flowerheads, within a later cream and blue outer slip, minor reweaving and patching, some heightening of colour tones
