Cast seated on its haunches and sharply turning the raised head to the back, the open jaws revealing sharp fangs beneath the fiercly bulging eyes, the brows, mane and tail detailed with parallel incised markings, the cover forming part of the beast's back and pierced with three small apertures, the base sealed with a lacquer coating
