Serial No. V014299, in sunburst finish, maple neck with skunk-stripe routing, twenty-one fret fingerboard with dot inlays, three pickups, three rotary controls, tremolo bridge/tailblock and white pickguard; and a tweed rectangular hardshell case with orange plush lining and Lee Dickson's handwritten tie-on label '57 Re-Issue Strat 'F' .014299 and adhesive paper label similarly inscribed; case containing a strap, tags and various parts including a bridge cover plate and tremolo arm
The 1957 re-issue model of the Fender Stratocaster was introduced in 1982.
Freddy Tavares and John Page of Fender presented this guitar to Eric Clapton in 1982 after a show in the States.
