A 1990 Fender Stratocaster Eric Clapton Signature 'Blackie' Model
Serial No. 0195, in black finish, with gold-plated metal parts, maple neck with skunk-stripe routing, back of headstock with two printed transfers one with the serial number the other with Custom Built J.W.Black Fender U.S.A. lettering, twenty-two fret fingerboard with dot inlays, three Fender Lace Sensor pickups, three rotary controls, selector switch and white pickguard; and a tweed rectangular hardshell case with red plush lining and Lee Dickson's handwritten tie-on label inscribed E C Blackie Gold Hdw Slide 0195 and adhesive paper label inscribed Black & Gold Custom Fender-Strat. /?0195
Fender supplied this guitar to Eric Clapton in 1990.
Eric Clapton describes this guitar as a "one-off". It has been set up for stage use and slide playing. Lee Dickson recalled that Clapton used this guitar on tour in the 1990s.
