Berlin-Lichterfeld [c.1930], made up of twelve chromolithographed gore, the equatorial and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the oceans showing some ocean currents, the continents with nation states delicately coloured in green and yellow (some old abrasions and repairs), the black and white painted wooden moonball on sprung wire arm from the ebonised cast iron mounting, the simple crank mechanism to the papered tin Zodiac circle, with candle holder and large brass reflector on ebonised cast iron column with brass crank handle and pentagonal base
