Inlaid overall with panels of scrolled foliate marquetry, the rectangular projecting cornice above a cushion-frieze drawer and fallfront, enclosing a blue material-lined writing-surface, pigeon-holes and short drawers and a door enclosing three further drawers, above a recess, the lower section with two short and two long drawers, on later turned tapering legs, losses and replacements to the mouldings, restorations, the foliate-scrolled marquetry and its ground panel of later date
