Second edition title page, but with all 4 works in first edition state, dated 1590, 1595, 1596 and 1604 respectively. The 400 engraved emblems are regarded by Thieme-Becker as among the best of their kind, and are attributable either to Hans Sibmacher or Hans Schroder (title page to the first work monogrammed 'HS' in the lower right corner).
