Lot Essay

The celebrated decorator Gaser Tabakoglu is probably best known for the exotic tea room he created for the Carlyle Hotel in 1989 inspired by the interiors of his native Instanbul. Before establishing his own business, he worked with the Milanese designer Renzo Mongiardino.
