A planetarium, the 3-inch (9.5cm.) diameter terrestrial globe made up of twelve coloured printed gores, the prime meridian and equator graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the continents outlined in red and green (several surface marks and some redrawing), the white-painted wooden moonball mounted on a wire arm from the geared mechanism atop the globe, the globe in turn mounted on a geared mechanism partially contained in a brass hexagonal drum, the brass arm with scroll support to geared mechanism and crank handle with wire arms for white- and grey-painted wooden balls to represent Venus and Mercury respectively, the printed zodiac circle with candle holder and polished brass reflector, raised on a turned brass column with geared mechanism at base with wire support arm for white-painted wooden ball to represent Mars, on circular embossed brass plinth base -- 28in.
