Uniforms of the Scottish Rifles

A group of Cameronians officer's uniform, as follows: an extremely fine black cloth shako of regulation pattern by HAWKES, 1 SAVILLE ROW, complete with black feather plume in blackened metal socket, and cap-lines; a fine black Full Dress doublet by WM. ANDERSON, EDINBURGH, bearing blackened metal stars of a 2nd Lieutenant; a black patent-leather shoulder-belt with white metal plate and chain-boss of regimental pattern (some fixings defective, no pouch); a rectangular waistbelt-plate mounted with WM regimental devices (now lacking female element and attached to a modern plastic belt, but together with its original patent leather waist-belt); a new-style mess jacket, with label named to Boyd 1929, of green serge throughout, with black metal badges of rank (collar-badges removed); and a pair of unfinished trews of Douglas tartan.
