The shield bordered by a blue-and-white ribbon with gilt-stamped eagles, from it depends a crowned "N" and a five-barred cross with a small gilt head. The white ground behind the eagle and shield decorated with small penwork ornaments; at top a star with rays holding a large "N." Framing eagle and escutcheon is an arrangement of green, gilt-edged curtains with gilt tassels, supporting a large gilt crown. Oval red ground with gilt-tooled floral border (probably a bookbinder's tool), the rest of the sheet marbled red and black.
