A black cocktail dress worn by Marilyn Monroe opposite Yves Montand in the 1960 film. The sleeveless dress is constructed with a bodice of coffee-colored chiffon embroidered with black scrolling foliage and matching cropped jacket. Also worn by the star to the 1959 ceremony for the presentation of her David Di Donatello Award at the Italian Consulate in New York for her performance in The Prince and the Showgirl, 1959. (2)
