REPLOGLE 12 INCH PRECISION GLOBE, Designed and edited by Gustav Brueckmann, Cartographer A 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial lamp globe made up of twelve chromolithographed paper gores laid on glass, the equatorial and the equinoctial colure graduated in degrees, the oceans coloured black and showing steamship routes with distances in nautical miles, banks, reefs, shoal water and shelf ice, the continents with nation states variously and brightly coloured and showing towns and cities of four sizes, railways, highways, canals, waterfalls, dams, swamps, intermittant lakes, glaciers, mountain peaks with elevation in feet, passes, deserts, ruins, other places of interest and the Great Wall of China, with electric flex and plug (some surface abrasion and small paper loss), with printed tin hour dial and moulded aluminium meridian half circle atop an ebonised aluminium plinth base containing the REPLOGLE COMPREHENSIVE WORLD ATLAS - New Census Edition copyright by C.S.
