After Shen Quan (1682-ca. 1760), a hanging scroll in ink and colour on silk, depicting a chained dark grey dog cowering in the grass beneath a gnarled tree amongst peonies and lillies, a cocatoo perched in the branches above -- 76.3/8in. x 37.3/8in. (194cms x 95cms), inscription, signature and two seals after the artist, 19th century.
