A Victorian Welsh mahogany longcase clock, second quarter 19th century
The hood with later arched cresting with ball and spire finials, line inlaid arch, with wavy frame to the door and spiral twist outset columns, with conforming short columns recessed to the sides of the trunk and flanking a trunk door with chequer inlay, conforming inlay to the plinth raised on high bracket feet, the 12½in. white dial with painted scene to the arch depicting a farmer returning to his farm with cattle, with cottage scenes to the spandrels, the white centre with Roman chapters, subsidiary seconds ring and arch date aperture, signed H H (?) Curtis neath, black painted brass hands, with falseplate to the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 88½in. (225cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate from the Friday 8 September and every week-day from 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.

On the Thursday 14 September a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per furniture lot, and £9.25 per non-furniture lot; and a storage charge of £3.20 per furniture lot and £1.60 per non-furniture lot per day; will come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
Please note: All charges due to Cadogan Tate must be paid at the time of collection from their warehouse. Only payment by cash, credit card or bankers draft will be accepted.
