TWO SWISS PARCEL-GILT WINE CUPS
One with maker's mark of Max Müller, Zurich, circa 1630, the other, maker's mark only, LE with a three-leaf plant beneath, one leaf between the initials
Of slightly varying design, each on spreading foot chased with three male masks with stylised butterflies between, the plain cylindrical centre with fluted shoulder and vase-shaped stem cast and chased with lobes, foliage and shells, the bowl engraved with scrolling foliage and shaped vertical panels with broad band of scrolling foliage above, Zurich cup marked on foot, the other marked on foot and bowl
