Circa 1725-50, the wheel engraving Northern Netherlands, the lead glass England
(Kraamglas) the generous funnel bowl with a rocaille escutcheon depicting a seated wet-nurse, rocking a cradle, further with a recovering mother seated on a four poster bed, surmounted by a crowned canopy, suspending tassels, the reverse inscribed; 't Welvaaren van de Kraamvrouw en het Kintje (the prosperity of the new mother and the infant), on a short angular stem, the foot conical
