The artist studied in Tokyo and has lived in France since 1951. She has exhibited frequently in France since 1956 in group shows as well as independently and in numerous international exhibitions particularly in the 1950s and 60s. She had one-person exhibitions at the National Museum of Modern Art, Seoul in 1970, 1978 and 1988.
