A CLASSICAL CARVED MAHOGANY CARD TABLE
Attributed to Anthony Quervelle (1789-1856), Philadelphia, 1820-1830
The hinged rectangular top with rounded corners swivelling and opening above a conforming frame with pulvinated frieze flanked by floral-carved corners over a baluster and ring-turned pedestal with pendant waterleaf carved embellishment above a quadripartite base, on leaf-carved legs with animal-paw-carved feet fitted with castors
