A Stephen Ackworth 'Beta Mouse' electric guitar, in black and green finish, single cutaway body, twenty-one fret fingerboard with dot inlays, two pickups, selector switch, three switches, three rotary controls, tremolo combination bridgeplate and added black plastic pickguard; and a pale tan coloured rectangular hardshell case with brown plush lining

Lot Essay

Stephen Ackworth (a.k.a. 'Cosmic Cowboy') was a big fan of Status Quo and offered to make the band some guitars. He made this one for Francis Rossi in a similar green to Rossi's trademark Telecaster. Rossi played this guitar for many years before displaying it in his studio.
