Hulse is in 1892 founded by Wilhelm Hulse in Berlin at the Leipziger strasse designing diamond-set jewellery. His son Eric was the secons owner who, after the War opened re-opened the firm at the Kurfurstendamm, the first building next to the square. Lotte Hulse was the third owner and designed large parures and even flatware. Nowadays this firm is in hands of the fourth generation Hulse-Reuter.
