On shaped oblong base with incurved sides, with four scroll feet cast with bull-rushes and with shell between, the shaped body with hinged curved door revealing the pierced strainer, the arched wheel support cast with shells and bullrushes on a matted ground, the body with guilloche borders and engraved twice with the initials CR, marked on bases, stamped '131167 ERCUIS'
