Working in pastel and oil, his paintings reflect an interest in natural history. A keen falconer, John also keeps a collection of birds and animals which enable him to have that close contact with his subjects that he consideres vital to the execution of his work. John shows paintings at various UK galleries and is represented in many private collections.
