He then built a career in the field of advertising which took him to both East and West Africa. His interest in wildlife intensified quite naturally with constant exposure to the vast game parks and frequent safaris into the African bush. His approach to his work is impressionistic as this is how he sees the mood and colours of the landscape integrating with his wildlife subjects. Philip's use of detail is balanced within a loose, colourful and refreshing style. His work hangs in private collections in the UK, USA, Europe and Africa. Philip is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild and has recently joined the Marwell Art Society.
