David turned his attention to drawing fully after being made redundant in the early 1980's. A lifelong interest in natural history provides him with his subjects of wildlife and he has travelled widely in the UK, USA and Europe researching his subjects and habitiat. His work has helped raise money for the Woodlands Trust, RSPB, the Raptor Foundation and the David Shepherd Conservation Foundation.
