She lived a nomadic life, travelling extensively with her family. In 1971 they settled in the then primitive island of Ibiza, Spain, where she still lives. She rapidly gained a reputation for her delicate, detailed miniatures of flora, fauna and fantasy. These were sold to collectors through exhibitions all over Spain and Great Britain, and finally through London's Burlington Arcade, Picadilly. In 1981, she began to paint full-sized canvases with the theme of 'Paradise'. Her first solo exhibition was an "Exotic Animal Alfabet (sic)" at the Portal Gallery, London, followed by various others in Spain and London. She continues to travel to wild places, and to paint with meticulous detail, the tranquil landscapes and dense jungles that she weaves around her studies of endangered species.
