Lot Essay

Duvelleroy produced this fan in fourteen different colours. They cost 100 francs. A beige version was exhibited no. 247, L'Eventail Miroir de la Belle Epoque, 1985. A blue version is illustrated figure 42 in From Court to Confectionary, Paul van Saanen and Peter Greenhalgh, Lausanne, 1994.
