Lot Essay

According to the vendor, Fred Hollinger, this particular concept for a toy pen was developed independently by a toy inventor and was styled to the finished design by Hollinger, the idea being to market the pen as an item in itself.....we looked at various packaging options including injection molded plastic boxes of various designs, desk like item packaging, blister cards, and so on...in drawing 1004 you can see the idea of a "Book" which later became an option. The blister card [lot 26] is what we finally produced.
