From Russia With Love, 1963
An ordnance survey map, scale: one inch to one statute mile, 1962, showing part of Argyllshire and the Firth of Lorn, the map annotated in an unknown hand in pencil and blue ballpoint pen with notes for location shots around various islands including Mull, Insh, Shuna, Luing, Eileen Arsa and Eileen Creagach where the speedboat sequence featuring Sean Connery as James Bond and Daniela Bianchi as Tatiana Romanova was shot in From Russia With Love, notations include Cubby with crew at helm 1st/2nd day of shoot 6 Boats for full run Sean From Lunga with girl run to boat and S Connery double to take lead from jetty lead South to Crinan 3 miles west -- 33x27in. (83.8x68.6cm.) framed; and approximately one hundred and fifty-seven corresponding black and white stills, (printed recently from contact prints), the majority of shots showing the speedboat sequence, some showing the cast and crew relaxing off set, all -- 3½x4¾in.
