The vendor won the competition by guessing Madonna's date of birth but, according to the accompanying press clipping, the Radio One DJ gave her the prize when she had incorrectly stated the answer as August 16th, 1959 instead of 1958. The radio station, realising their mistake, quickly traced the real winner and were obliged to present him with another Gaultier bra.
