A rare British quad cinema poster Young Flesh Required, The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle, 1979, designed by Jamie Reid -- 30x40in. (76.2x101.6cm.) framed, signed in silver felt pen by Jamie Reid, additionally annotated with a double Anarchy motif, with a xerox of a press release from Virgin Records and a xerox of a press clipping from Sounds magazine, 24th May, 1980 attached to the surface of the poster

Lot Essay

This design of poster was never actually used as American Express took offence at the use of their image and sued for the withrawal of the poster and the single sleeve. Consequently very few copies of this poster survive.
The vendor acquired this poster in the 1980s from a charity auction at The Young Unknowns Gallery, The Cut, London, SE1.
