The sighted barrel marked -ADDRESS COL. SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-, with conversion ejector-housing (numbered 6200, which matches barrel assembly number), COLTS PATENT marked three-screw frame, Richards First Model conversion plate/loading gate (internal gate spring) assembly marked 1084, 6 stop cylinder with naval engagement scene marked COLTS PATENT No. 7568, iron and brass grips straps, checkered ivory grips relief carved with Mexican Eagle and Snake standing on Cactus bed motif

Showing conversion of existing percussion barrel to Richards configuration, filled dove-tail from percussion lever catch.
Grey patina overall, mostly matching numbers (wedge un-numbered), grips shrunken, some replaced screws throughout
