gouache and bodycolour on paper, depicting a mythical beast above three columns with crouching beasts terminals before a whorl pattern panel, surrounded by birds among plantain and religious symbols, the reverse further decorated with a religious figure between and above birds and mythical beasts -- 10½in. (26.7cm.), framed and glazed; two further studies of similar style with religious figures, mythical beasts and birds -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) framed and glazed, (old damages).
