Meiji Period (Circa 1900)
The turned iron-red body with a low narrow waist and a high shoulder rising to a large everted neck covered with a glaze of various shades of grey, green and brown, dripping down the shoulder and into the mouth, with fifty monkeys in biscuit seated on the shoulder, some of them dressed, with a central group pulling a basket of peaches to feed the others, minor old damage
