A 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Officer's Sword

With etched curved fullered blade (some original blued and gilt finish, some discolouration, pitting, and nicks to edge), gilt-brass stirrup hilt with ornate backstrap and acanthus-leaf langets (some gilt remaining), and chequered ivory grip (slightly chipped), in gilt-mounted black leather scabbard with maker's details on reverse of locket (scabbard broken below locket, middle-band lacking its suspension-ring)
