VINTAGE YANKEE STADIUM SEAT
1923-1973
A vintage wood and metal stadium seat from the one and only Yankee Stadium located in the Bronx, New York. Used in the ballpark from 1923 until it closed in 1973 for renovations, this seat is a teal blue hue, though a previous coat of sea-foam green paint can be seen underneath. A number 13 is stencilled in black paint on the top portion while the seat portion folds up like a typical stadium chair. Wear and tear in the form of nicks, chips, scratches, dents and weather damage is evident, but only adds to the charm of this piece that saw some of the greatest baseball legends of all-time play including Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio.
