Further details
While fairly true to the original dies, there are some significant differences noted in the Bolen copies. The original coppers have a hyphen between NEO and EBORACUS, while the Bolen copies do not. Additionally, the original coppers have five feathers in the Indian's headress, while the copies have eight. Of further interest to the reader is Burdette Johnson's notation on the envelope which accompanies this lot. Johnson noted "In silver and probably unique. Cost Mr. Newcomer $2100.00."
