The stand London, 1775, both maker's mark probably that of William Cox, the kettle with illegible date letter
The bun form kettle with scroll spout with gadrooned join, with broadly gadrooned rim, with swing handle with fluted join, the raised detachable cover with silver and wood button finial, the waisted triangular stand on three shell foot scroll supports, with circular reeded stretcher issuing three spoon form supports--kettle on stand over handle 12in. (30.4cm.) high, 44oz.
