The first maker's mark of Simon LeSage, London, 1771; the other maker's mark illegible, London, 1772
The game platter shaped oval, the broad border engraved with coat-of-arms and motto, the other side with crest, with applied gadrooned rim--13¼in. (33.6cm.) long, 22oz.; the sauceboat oval, on three stepped hoof, foliate headed scroll supports, engraved with two crests, with leaf capped flying scroll handle and applied gadrooned rim--length over handle and spout 6½in. (16.5cm.), 6oz.--total weight 28oz. (2)
