Maker's mark of Richard Gardner, London, 1775, the border stamped with maker's mark and lion passant
Circular, on three cast shell supports, the center engraved with crest and Earl's coronet, the border chased with paterae hung husk swags, with berried laurel applied rim, the underside engraved with differing crest--12¼in. (31.1cm.) diam., 42oz.
