Long necked ovoid, lower body cut with panels of trelliswork, picket band above, with scalloped red band below diamond cut neck, topped with red glass, the mount incised with stylized stiff-leaf band, with partly matted and foliate clad shaped scroll handle, the hinged domed cover, cover spout, topped by baluster finial and with shell form thumbpiece--12½in. (31.7cm.) high
