AN ORIGINAL MADAME PUPPET
A hand and rod Madame puppet used by ventriloquist Wayland P. Flowers, circa late 1970's. The head is made of celastic, with elaborate gray yarn hairstyle, fitted with a rhinestone tiara made by Mr. Flowers. A silver lame underdress is covered with a silver open filigree, rhinestone embellished, maribou bordered shoulder cape. This particular dress was featured in the opening credits of The Andy
Williams Show 1976-1977. Her ensemble is accessorized by matching sequined collar and bracelets. Madame was best known for her sharp wit and snappy comebacks, appearing on many programs including Andy Williams, Solid Gold and her own Madame's Place--36 inches tall.
