The deep, rounded sides inlaid in thin gold wire with a frieze of scrolls set with gold-mounted, faceted, paste rubies and on each side with a single gold fish with incised scales, bordered above and below by narrow bands of similar paste 'jewels', the base inlaid with a line of chevrons in green jadeite cabochons and further 'rubies', the semi-translucent stone of dark gray-green color with opaque buff mottling, rim chips--11in.
