PROVENANCE: The Calendar has Saints Wenceslas and Hedwig, patroness of Silesia, both in red with their translation, both also in the Sanctorale, confirming the Polish or Silesian origin of the book. The calendar contains also many Franciscan feasts in red, such as St.Francis, with his translation, finding of his relics and the feast of his Stigmata, also Sts. Clare, Anthony and Louis of Toulouse, all with their translation, suggesting Franciscan use. Recent bookplate of G.Nordbäck.
