A VERY RARE BOOK OF HOURS. Goff H-359 records only a very incomplete copy at the Long Island Historical Society, and the Louis H. Silver copy (sold Sotheby's 8 Nov. 1965, lot 160); Bohatta 505; Alès 177 (a very imperfect copy); not in Lacombe or Brunet.

Some of the very fine woodcuts in this book illustrate the Old and the New Testament in upper and lower compartments. These were used again in a Book of Hours printed by Jehannot in 1493 and in a Missal printed by Jean Morand for Antoine Vérard in 1496. Cf. Claudin, Histoire de l'Imprimerie II, 213.
