Type: 1:185G (headings, head-lines, marginal headings in table), 3:92a (text and marginal notes). 2- to 14-line initial spaces, one initial on I:5/2r added in pen and ink. (Lower half of final blank of vol. I torn away, some staining, worming sometimes affecting a few letters in first and final quires of both volumes, small tear in II: fo.188 affecting a few letters.) Contemporary London binding, calf over wooden boards, blindstamped with rolls and stamp (Oldham roll AN.g(1) and ornament B(3)), modern pastedowns (binding wormed, worn and repaired). Provenance: marginal annotations in a contemporary English hand; Nathan Comfort Starr, Cambridge, Mass., booklabel dated 1923.
